My husband and I have always enjoyed the country life and have raised many animals throughout the years. When I saw my first picture of a Lionhead rabbit I knew that someday I would have to have one. Two years later I was fortunate enough to be in a position to make that dream come true.

 

While getting excited about the Lionheads, I noticed another smaller breed of rabbit that was very appealing to me - Holland Lops. After reading about their sweet nature I decided that this would also be a great breed to raise and show with my grandchildren.

 

I am a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association. Bunny Express Rabbitry is registered with ARBA, #C506. I am also a member of the North American Lionhead Rabbit Club and President of the Colorado Lionhead Breeders Club.

 Showing bunnies has been a great adventure and learning experience for myself and my grandchildren! Adrianna and Isabella have just met Dora at the Show in Brighton, CO and have talked me into taking her home with us. Dora is such a sweetheart and loves to be brushed! The girls have enjoyed her so much! They also like seeing all the different breeds of rabbits at the show and entering the drawings for the raffle. They have met new people, made new friends, and learned different techniques for handling their bunnies.

 

 The grandchildren are not the only ones that have made new friends because of their interest and love for rabbits! This has been a wonderful and fullfilling experience for me as well!! Above, from left to right are Marlo, Evelyn, myself, Melissa, and Shannon.
