COMMENTS FROM SOME OF MY CUSTOMERS:
Some of my customers have come back with the best stories about their experiences with their bunnies and how their bunnies have become a special part of their lives - I just had to share.
1. Nancy writes:" We purchased our Lionhead baby in October 2010 and since that time have really enjoyed him. We named him Oscar and he travels by car to the store with us, watches TV with us and likes to sit with me in his outdoor cage when I garden. He's very social and sweet to our four daughters. He's even learned to go up the stairs to the bedroom where his cage is and wait in front of it to be let back in. He's an excellent addition to our family of four girls, three dogs and one cat." Nancy also told me that Oscar gets to go to Home Depot and Target and any place else as he is so good in the car and in shopping carts. What a lucky bunny!! This is a picture of Oscar (Lionhead) when he was a baby. He is a beautiful Blue-Tort.

2. Jennifer (age 12) writes: We just wanted to let you know that Thumper is doing well and has adapted to his new home quickly. He is a very special addition to our family, we let him run around the living room every evening and play with the toys we purchased for him. He also enjoys exploring our house and finding new places to play as well as tagging along to the pet store. He is very well behaved and easily trainable. He is also very friendly and fluffy."

3. Kevin & Marybeth sent me some adorable pictures of their new little Holland Lop "Bubbles". They tell me she has earned the title of "Princess Tiny Bubbles" and is indeed a very happy rabbit with one of the sweetest dispositions they have ever run across in a bunny. They love to spread the word about bunnies and say "She certainly is a little beauty". I agree!!

4. Tracy bought a beautiful little broken black Lionhead bunny from me that she named Elvira. Her favorite place in their home is on the couch in front of the fan. Tracy says she has such personality, is such a doll, everyone that meets her loves her deeply, and she is a real love. Elvira loves to "strut her stuff" and has a great pose as well. Her BFF, Wyatt, is a cute little blue point Lionhead and they have become inseparable.Tracy's husband says Elvira is so spoiled and Tracy told him "I know, all my babies are".

5. Kirby and Steve had adopted a Tort buck Lionhead named Bob from the Humane Society and felt like he needed a friend. When they saw Honey Bunny - they knew she was the one. Kirby later emailed "We appreciated your time and expertise last week. Honey is a total love and we adore her - Bob does, too!" You can see by the pictures that even though Bob is a full grown neutered male, he is very loving and caring of his new friend.

Bob shares everything with his new sweetie!
6. Jana wanted to surprise her daughter with a little bunny of her very own. Something Marlow had wanted for a long time. When the big day finally arrived, Marlow thought she was here so her mother could get some special yarn from me. When she saw my rabbitry and asked if she could hold a bunny, I brought out a little broken tort Holland Lop for her. You should have saw her face when her mother told her that the bunny was hers! Talk about a face that lit up the room!! After getting the new bunny home, Jana emailed that they had named him "Bean" after a children's book called "Bean is Big Enough". She also wrote that "Bean is so very sweet! He has spent a lot of time out of the cage and in our arms. He will hop over to me and nuzzle into my hand to get some love and attention. He is just perfect and we love him!! Thank you so much for sweet Bean!"

10. Nicki emailed me some pictures that I had to share. She wrote that "Chico is such a delight to have in the family. Our family dog Quincy, which is a Shih Tzu, loves Chico's company! They play and lay with one another - had no idea the personalities that Holland Lops possess!! At times he acts like a puppy. Chico gives us "bunny kisses" on our forehead and noses. It's so adorable! Thank you so very much for our little joy!!"
11. Bandit, a beautiful VM Harlequin buck, arrived safely in Florida and made the trip to his new home in Georgia a few days later. I am told that "We absolutely love Bandit! He is so beautiful! We have to show him to everyone and he is adjusting just fine. Thank you so much for parting with him. He has added so much color and character to our bunny barn!"
12. Jazz, a broken Lionhead buck, is one of those bunnies that you hate to let go of, but he was such a darling he deserved a little girl that would love him. That little girl came along and Jazz is a very lucky bunny!! His new family sent me this picture and said "We adore this little guy! He sure is a cutie pie! Thank you so much!"
